The Spanish Sin Moo Hapkido Association organized June 2 its Annual Gala of Hapkido consistent in the Master Class that was carried out in the room of Martial Arts of the València University and the Dinner-Gala of the IV National Award of Hapkido that took place in the parlors of the Hotel Albashiri.
The Master Class began at 16 o'clock h. the first hour was the duty of the Master one Rafael Balbastre 7th Dan, President and Chief Master of the AESMH. The Master Balbastre began with advanced respiration "Ki" tecniques based on the movement of the energy through the circle, square and triangle but concentrated on the called "Hand of Koryo", Korean system based on the acupuncture and moxibustión in the hand that affects al entire body, but in SMH the technique is carried out by means of the meditation, concentration and respiration.
The Master Balbastre explained to its Black Belts that this is an advanced system of meditation for the development of the "Ki" and that understands other variant of deeper meditation as the called 8 organs meditation, power meditation and the infinite meditation. These they can be explained and to coach in class only superficially, the true development is by means of an individual training, according to the Doju-nim Ji Han Jae a correct training consists of an hour for day during 100 days and during the development should comply strictly the 9 rules the SMH so that this be effective.
After the respiration-concentration phase the Master Balbastre set in motion a very dynamic class doing emphasis in the fist techniques with the style of the occidental boxing as combination base for the fist techniques. Chiefly were trained straight fist techniques; Bande-Jirugui and Baro-Jirugui, the circle fist techniques; Dolio-Jirugui and the ascending hook fist techniques; Olio-Jirugui. The Master wanted to purify these techniques because according to him although they are trained in the basic degrees in upper levels of Hapkido there is some very specify against boxing fist techniques in five different applications and is necessary to have a purified technique to be able to block, to trap and subsequently to apply the against of key or pertinent projection.
The pupils worked these techniques first front the mirror and after with contact to mittens, was with the mittens training when the Master began to develop some systems of battle to objectives in movement, trainings seemed to the ones that are carried out in boxing or sportive Taekwondo.
With these combat systems the Master Balbastre extended along but of half an hour with the systems fights of fist, battle of low, high kicks, sweepings, finishing with all mixed fist, kicks and kicks swept. The training was very aerobic but the pupils enjoyed striking and dischargeing adrenaline.
The second hour called "Round of Instructors" was the duty of some of the regular Instructors of schools that been present which taught a technique and all the pupils trained it. As they were free techniques and out of program some amazing variations were seen executing and personalizing the techniques. The Instructors that dictated techniques were Juan José Martín 3rd Dan from Sevilla, Salvador Caballero 2nd Dan from Barcelona, José Mira 2nf Dan from Xativa, Francisco Blasco 2nd Dan from L´Olleria, Ramón López 1st Dan from Xátiva y Guillermo Villalonga 1st Dan from Mallorca, being adhered finally the Master Balbastre too explaining a dynamics against to the lock Bakkat Dolio Kokki.
The last hour it was dedicated to the exhibitions, participating the teams of the clubs Shotokan-Montequinto from Sevilla, Doyang-Sal from Barcelona, Rommar from Mallorca and Chongdo, Sinmookwan and Kukkiwon from Valencia, the act was closed with an exhibition of Kumdo in charge of the Master Balbastre and two of his Kumdo students.
After the exhibitions and forming rows was delivered a participation certificate to all the pupils and present Instructors.
