These are the main and most important stages of Master Hubmann. With many international activities, worldwide contacts and friendship to various grandmasters, he is one of the “Hapkido” & “Kombatan” pioneers in Europe. He dedicated his life to the martial arts and as he says:

“I did many different arts but I stopped them all because Hapkido & Kombatan are complete and have all ideas insight. The main focus of Hapkido is self-defense in different situations, most without weapons. Eastern and western philosophy, meditation, healing and other methods are included as well, to get a strong and healthy person with deep respect to the nature, humans and the life. Kombatan is the complementary art, the main focus is just to fight and kill with bladed weapons. Both arts together harmonize perfectly. Hapkido-people can have a benefit from the Kombatan fighting skills with sticks and bladed weapons and Kombatan-people benefits from the Hapkido techniques and philosophy. Both arts together build the full range of martial arts skills”.

“Martial arts are my hobby, not my profession, not a business for me. So it is easy to keep a clear mind and budo-spirit and to follow the real martial arts way of life. What I want to do is just to learn, to train and teach that interested people are able to follow the masters.
